NDT specific Inspections
UTM Survey – Thickness Measurement
Ultrasonic thickness measurements of metal structures and piping to identify corrosion, wear, cavitation, and other forms of material loss, in accordance with Classification
Society or project requirements.
Weld Inspections
Non-destructive inspection of welds in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials, carried out to recognised Classification Society and ISO standards.
Standing Rigging
Detailed inspection of wire or rod rigging and fittings to detect fatigue, corrosion, overload, and other structural defects, either afloat or with the mast unstepped.
Shafts, blades and Propellers
Non-destructive testing to identify cracks, cavitation damage, pitting, corrosion, and wear affecting propulsion components.
Pipes, Discharges and leaks
Inspection and thickness measurement of piping, cooling circuits, exhaust systems, and
associated components to detect deterioration and service-related defects.
Mast, Booms, Crossheads
Inspection of carbon-fibre and aluminium spars to identify surface and internal defects, with surveys carried out either afloat or ashore.
Carbon Fibre structures
Advanced ultrasonic inspection of composite structures to detect porosity, delamination, cracking, inclusions, and debonding.
Bolts and Pins
Non-destructive inspection of critical fasteners and pins to identify defects that may compromise structural integrity.
Rudders
Inspection of rudder stocks and blades, metallic or composite, in accordance with
Classification Society requirements or specific project scopes.
